“Cities are beautiful because they are created slowly; they are made by time. A city is born from a tangle of monuments and infrastructures, culture and market, national history and everyday stories. It takes 500 years to create a city, 50 to create a neighborhood.” – Renzo Piano

Eleanor is a native Seattleite. She grew up in Burien and attended Raisbeck Aviation High School in Tukwila. She spend a year in Italy where she studied architecture at CSU IP Italy in Florence. Her time abroad taught her a lot about the importance of history and culture to a city as well as the benefits of designing cities for pedestrians.

Upon Eleanor’s return from Italy, she returned to California Polytechnic State University, SLO to complete her senior thesis and receive her Bachelor of Architecture. After finishing school, she joined Rolluda Architects to pursue her passion of sustainable design in the field of architecture.

In Eleanor’s free-time, she enjoys experimenting with new food dishes, relaxing in coffee shops, and spending time with friends.
