RAI Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary
On the 25th of September, 2017, RAI crossed a huge milestone by celebrating our fifteenth year in business. We sincerely appreciate all of our clients, consultants, and employees for their support. We believe the working relationships we have built have formed a strong foundation of diversity, integrity, and respect. We plan to keep these relationships growing and to continue to provide high-quality services to our clients. Annual BBQ at Lake Cavanaugh
RAI gathered on a beautiful August day for the firm's annual bbq/picnic at Lake Cavanaugh, generously hosted by longtime friend and former architect at RAI Maury Hagen and his wife.

Annual Golf Tournament | Filipino Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest (FCCPNW)
Alex Clark and Nestor Marquez represented RAI in FCCPNW's annual golf tournament. This year the tournament was held at West Seattle Golf Course in Southwest Seattle.

Picnic at Lake Forest Park Civic Club
This year the RAI family started a new tradition—a Friday afternoon picnic at Lake Forest Park Civic Club on Lake Washington. Paul Dorn and his wife generously hosted the group.

Annual Camping Trip
The RAI family embarked on its annual camping trip. This year the group traveled to Bumping Lake Campground just east of Mount Rainier National Park.

Volunteering Event | The BLOCK Project
Over the course of two weekends in July, RAI staff members volunteered with The BLOCK Party, a unique organization that invites community into the task of ending homelessness by placing a BLOCK Home in the backyard of one single-family lot on every residentially-zoned block within the City of Seattle. The BLOCK party is managed and owned by Facing Homeless, an organization that Rolluda Architects worked with during the 2016 Seattle Design Festival.

Annual Queen Anne Running of the Bulls
The RAI team gathered on Queen Anne Hill for the neighborhood's annual running of the bulls. The group sported the traditional white and red colors.

SBA Washington 8(a) Graduate of the Year Award | U.S. Small Business Administration
In 2017 Rolluda Architects was honored with the SBA 8(a) Graduate of the Year Award in, which recognizes an outstanding business that has graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program for government contracting.

2017 Prospective Student Day Lecture | UW College of Built Environments
Alex Rolluda gave the 2017 Prospective Student Day Lecture at the University of Washington. The event was hosted by the UW College of Built Environments. Alex's lecture was entitled Diversity By Design, Design By Inclusion.
