Fuzou Connection: Chinese President Xi Jinping to Visit Tacoma’s Lincoln High School | The News Tribune
Tacoma has had a sister-city relationship with Fuzhou since 1994. Both cities have participated in educational, cultural and sports exchanges, and Tacoma lawmakers regularly visit Fuzhou.

Rolluda Architects was part of the design team that helped incorporate the commemorative pavilion ("ting") from the city of Fuzou into Tacoma's Chinese Reconciliation Park.
